Qualifications Explained
Work Based Courses
Often company training packages meet the knowledge criteria of formal qualifications and many Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) can be assessed in the workplace without the need to attend classes. Moray College can provide training to meet any shortfall between existing in-house delivery and qualification requirements. Similarly we can carry out or assist with workplace assessment, and provide internal and external moderation (quality control) on behalf of most business operations. Funding can often be sourced through initiatives such as Modern Apprenticeships, Skillseekers, Training for Work or New Deal. Moray College's Other Income Generation Unit may be able to assist with sourcing this funding.
