Aims of the Course
• To enable students to produce an extensive portfolio of visual work for application to degree programmes across the UK.
• To enable students to develop skills in a number of disciplines including life drawing, photography and mixed media.
• To enable students to develop critical and analytical skills through research into the work of other artists.

Course Contents
SQA units mainly at Higher (SCQF Level 6.)

Entrance Requirements
Applicants should have previous experience in visual art at Higher level or above.

Duration of the Course
Full time - 1 year.
Part time - 2 years.

Progression
• Further study may include BA (Hons) Fine Art at Moray School of Art, Moray College UHI. Entry to this degree course is by selection based on the strengths of the portfolio produced.
