Aims of the Course
• To produce a mature and complex body of textile work which is built upon the skills and knowledge gained by students during the City & Guilds Certificate in Design and Craft (Embroidery) course.

Course Contents
• City & Guilds units at Level 3

At this level the focus is on the design and completion of work. The student will develop a significant body of textile work using a range of skills and techniques learned during the Certificate level. At the Diploma level, the design, planning and making takes place at a more advanced level. Students are encouraged to stretch themselves through ambitious and innovative textiles which demonstrate high levels of skill.
