There are things to be said but  not to be read!

My experiences at resource centre have been very good and helpful as far as I can see.

I was very apprehensive at the start but very soon as I spoke to other people who attend the centre, I found it to be friendly easy going.

I have never felt under pressure to “do better.” I attend a computer class on a Thursday where we worked as a group to set up this new web site with our class instructor.

The resource centre in Elgin is very well run and no pressure is put on you to do things faster. The reps do their best to put you at ease.  There are plenty of other clients to chat with who also use the centre.
Ben Nevis
When I was approx 17yrs of age we were on holiday with the Forres community Centre. We camped up at Fort William in the Great Glen at Glen Nevis where we decided to walk to the top of Ben Nevis on the Thursday.

On the Wednesday we walked half way up to the area beside a loch where we pitched the tents and set out the sleeping bags. Our idea was to be first to the top the next day, but by the time we got up the next day the people we met were on the way down.  On looking at the clock it was 12:30 in the afternoon so we were too late. We had very good weather no fog or mist just unbroken sunshine but we made it to the top of Ben Nevis.
photo of swimming ppol I go to a hyper-baric chamber every second Monday in Inverness where we class it as going for a dive. It is one session, which I find to be relaxing. I feel better after my time in the chamber and defiantly more relaxed.

I also attend meetings where we hope to raise money to build a hydro-therapy pool in Forres. If all goes to plan we will set a competition to name the pool in our local newspaper, which supports the case for a hydro pool in Moray.

If you head east out of Forres the nearest is in Aberdeen. If you head west the nearest is at Dingwall, so for a local pool we have a long and tiresome journey in front of us.

The pool and surrounding air temperature is much warmer than an ordinary pool which alleviates some of the symptoms of my condition. Hydro-therapy is also used to aid those recovering from sports injuries.
