	The resource centre offers a wide range of facilities for people with minor to major disabilities, its ultimate aim is to help its clients adjust to the change they have just gone through which lets face it can be quite a daunting experience and a major upheaval in their lives. Some of the ways in which it can do this is by helping people to Adjust to change Learn new skills Gain self-confidence Return to education or work Participate in the development of the service
The centre and its facilities are available to anyone over the age of 16 living in the Moray area. You can refer yourself or be referred by your G.P. or Occupational Therapist. etc. If a service is offered, a key-worker will be on hand to offer advice, support and information and for some people there is a day service which they can use within the centre in Elgin itself. Information Service & Disabled Living Centre This part of the service aims to provide info and advice on services and equipment available at the centre. The centre provides somewhere for you to come, meet people with similar needs and enjoy a bit of company. The good thing about the centre is there is no pressure!
