BA Fine Art course
BA Fine Art Degree Show

Welcome to the Moray College UHI BA Fine Art student showcase 2005.

This year’s degree show incorporates a range of fine art practice from installation to photography, video and drawing. The work is fresh and exciting, exemplifying the experimental and innovative nature of the course. The development of the student’s fine art practice is placed at the centre of the curriculum through tutorial and workshop support. Students are encouraged to develop a cross discipline approach to fine art practice, whilst contextualising their work through theoretical activities such as Critical and Contextual Studies and the presentation of a Thematic Study. The addition of an Elective module at Level 2, from degree programmes outwith fine art, makes this degree unique in Fine Art Higher Education in Scotland. The BA Fine Art has been running for 5 years and in this time has attracted attention within the field, due to the high quality of its graduates. Recent visitors to the College have included Will MacLean, John Byrne and Roddy Buchanan.

To see a range of the work from the 2005 degree show, please click on the names of the exhibiting students on the left hand side of the screen.
