Travel Information
In support of the College Travel Plan and in the context of sustainability, you are encouraged wherever possible to use more active methods in travel to and from the College. This ideally would be by either walking, or cycling. A number of secure cycle lockers are available (on payment of a refundable £10 deposit) per academic year and a covered canopy is available on the main campus. A cycle route map of Elgin showing existing, and proposed cycle routes has been provided by Urban Freedom.

Failing this we would encourage the use of public transport, and to this end a number of links to either bus, or rail travel are provided. Real time bus information is displayed at the main reception on the main campus, and this can be accessed by remote methods from within the buildings. A Guide to Bus Travel in Elgin incorporating a route map of Elgin and rural Stagecoach Bluebird buses is available here. Stagecoach Bluebird also offer the Bluebird Unirider, a discount scheme specifically for students in the north east geographic area. For details of Scotland wide travel information visit Traveline Scotland.

The College does have limited parking at most campuses, and where car travel is necessary, we would encourage some form of lift share provided by Hitrans, a regional organisation which specialises in transport. The College operates a permit display system and requests that all users of the College park their vehicles within the designated areas. Students can obtain a permit from the College Registry on production of their matriculation card.
