Where Is It?
The Nairn Learning Centre is the unusually shaped brown and red triangular building situated in the Balmakeith Industrial Estate on the outskirts of Nairn. Ample free parking space is available and there is a bus-stop right outside our door.
When Are We Open?
We are open all year round, except for two weeks over the Christmas/New Year period, at the following times:
Monday - Friday 8:45 to 16:45
Thursday evening 18:30 to 20:30
Who Do You Contact?
Two members of training staff will give you a warm welcome to the Nairn Learning Centre. Gary Aitken and Rosemary Aitken have been with Moray College for many years and have established a friendly, active centre. They can be contacted by telephone on 01667 456759 or by email NairnLC@moray.uhi.ac.uk
Our Facilities
The Nairn Learning Centre consists of a Reception Office, two state-of-the-art IT training rooms and a large room for videoconferencing, meetings, training or group work. All rooms are bright and airy with air-conditioning throughout.
The IT training rooms are fully equipped with the latest technology including 30 up-to-date PCs, data projectors, scanners, colour printers and a video conferencing facility. All computers are networked into the Moray College intranet and are permanently linked to the Internet.
There is also a spacious rest area for our tea breaks.
There are disabled toilet facilities and disabled access to the ground floor from the car level. A portable loop system is available for those with a hearing impairment.
What Do We Offer?
Although our learning centre is well equipped for Information Technology training, we can also offer other courses that are not specific to using computers.
